Slow Cooker Wassail
Crockpot Mulled Cider is the perfect cold weather drink! So easy to make using common ingredients in the slow cooker!
Servings 12 servings
- 8 cups apple cider
- 2 cups orange juice
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon juniper berries
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 thumb-size fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
- 1 apple, cored and sliced thinly
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamon
- 1 orange, sliced thinly
In the slow cooker, add the apple cider, orange juice, and pineapple juice.
Add in the brown sugar, juniper berries, cinnamon sticks, and fresh ginger. Add the ground nutmeg and ground cardamon. Stir to combine.
Add the apple and orange slices.
Cook on HIGH for 2 to 4 hours or on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or until completely heated through
Let cool slightly and serve in mugs. Top with apple or orange slices.
